Ответ на мой вопрос от суппорта Jim wolf technology по валам . Ваше мнение ?
Hi Victor,
We just re-opened this week after our 2 week holiday closing and are working on getting caught up with E-mails.
I corrected a statement below in the C2 camshaft information on the use of those cams.
We make many camshaft profiles for the VQ35DE engines. These include the JWT S1, S2, C2, C8, C9 race, C10 race and even larger for special built race application type engines. There is a big difference between a JWT S2 cam profile and a JWT C8 cam profile.
The JWT S2 cam profile would be for someone with a few bolt on parts that wants a very streetable camshaft that does not require any special tuning or major changes to install. The JWT S2 camshaft was designed to be used with the factory valve springs and has a very streetable idle quality as well. These help improve the mid range and top end power areas without any significant low end power loss. Max rpm is 7,200 when used with the JWT VQ valve springs. Note that with the DE engine, if using factory connecting rods, you need to upgrade the rod bolts to then be safe to 7,200 rpm. OEM Nissan 350Z Rev up spec rod bolts could be used to be able to get to that rpm.
The JWT C8 camshaft is for someone with the all the basic bolt on upgrades (intake, exhaust system, headers) plus tuning of the ECU to take advantage of the additional power these can make. These require use with our JWT specific valve springs and then these can safely rev to 8,200 rpm. Note that with the DE engine, if using factory connecting rods, you need to upgrade the rod bolts to then be safe to 7,200 rpm. OEM Nissan 350Z Rev up spec rod bolts could be used to be able to get to that rpm. These cams make more mid range and top end power above the torque peak and the idle quality is slightly lopey and not as streetable as the JWT S2 profile and the power below the torque peak is also not as strong.
The JWT C2 camshaft is also a choice you should be considering as it although requires use of our JWT valve springs, gives you more power than the S2 cams when using all the basic bolt on parts while still maintaining reasonable idle quality and low end power. I would recommend this cam profile for you if you were mainly using this as a street car and going to do occasional specific track type road course events and were not looking into having the ECU re-tuned either.
Best Regards,
Ben Pila

Dear JWT support,
Is this correct statement ?
A full N/A build, by JWT standards, is valve springs, shims, and cams. They would've include a more extensive parts list if their cams needed more. Why get S2s and make 5-10 more whp @ 6300rpm or C8s and make 15-20whp @ 6300rpm for the same cost? The labor is the bane of the upgrade. Why go in there twice? Classy and I have gone through this, as well as a few others, so we're giving you our expeience.
With the JWT valve springs and shims, you can easily rev to 7500rpm all day. You can get HR valve springs, too.
Hesitating betweet those 2 cams, please help to make it clear.Thank you in advance
