So, its been a while, for the past month i had my brakes swaped with Mazdaspeed 6 brakes…
Swap of the rotor and caliper is a direct fit, no modification needed…
You only need to make a minor mod to the stock lines because the bleeder hole of the Mazdaspeed caliper touches the the brake line and it wont fit, if you cut the edge of the banjo bolt it will fit in place but i dont recommend it, not sure if it will work with no problems…
I order from Stoptech SS lines for the Mazdaspeed 6 which i though it was a direct fit, but in the end it wasn't, we had to bent the hard line of the car a little more to the outside and a little up more in order for them to fit…
If i would done it again i would prefer Technafit for Mazdaspeed 6 or Hell for Mazda 6 GH…from what i've seen in pictures they have more potential to be direct fit !
Rear Stoptech SS lines for the Mazdaspeed 6 will NOT fit the Mazda 6 GH, they are by 5,5cm shorter and they touch the handbrake mechanism, i had the rear made here in Greece, custom to fit our car, job was excelent, parts were from Goodridge !
So along with the calipers of the Mazdaspeed 6 which we made a little maintenance, i got Stoptech slotted rotors, Stoptech street performance pads, and SS lines front and back (front the Stoptech of the Mazdaspeed 6 and rear custom made) . Also we used Motul RBF600 for the best result in braking perfomance through hard braking…
The result is beyond expected, car stops like a race car, constant braking, firm pedal, linear and fast responce and you feel very confident when driving it !

Congratulations for the upgrade! What is the actual difference in length in centimeters between stock lines and the SS you used? After the upgrade can you fit 17" wheel?

The change of the feeling is great!
Pedal is super precise, car starts to slow down emmidiately, you feel that you have control of the car in any situation, you can predict where the car will stop, after 2000 klm today that i have pushed them a little fade simply does not exist !
You can go again and again on the brakes hard and braking will be the same everytime !
I am super happy about this mod !
Only drawback is the higher weight of the rotor, stock Mazda 6 rotor 9kg, stock Mazdas 6 MPS rotor 10 kg…
In the beggining i thought that the car was a little less nervous with the throttle but i maybe was that the pads and rotor where in touch all the time because they were new…Now i feel that everything is ok !

Caliper rotor pads is a bolt on direct fit, no adapter needed, everything is just like the factory…
You will need a minor mod to the stock lines if you decide to keep them, at the end of the banjo bolt there is a moustache that you will need to cut in order the stock lines to fit the new caliper…but i wouldn't recomend it because the line is a bit stretched when wheels turn with the MPS caliper…
Better is to get Hell SS brake lines for our cars and you will be fine with the MPS brakes ! cost is low at about 100 euros for both front and rear !
Stoptech that i have was 150 euros and was not a direct fit !
